ACAS early conciliation complusory

From 6th May 2014, it becomes compulsory to notify ACAS of an intended tribunal claim before presenting an employment tribunal claim form. Since 6th April, ACAS early conciliation has been optional but from Tuesday it will be compulsory as a claim cannot be submitted to the Tribunal before referring the matter to ACAS for conciliation first.
