Agency Worker Regulations 2010

The Agency Worker Regulations 2010 are due to come into force on 1 October 2011 and will give greater rights to agency workers. After 12 weeks working in the same role, an agency worker will be entitled to the same basic working and employment conditions as the employer’s permanent employees. From the start of an assignment, agency workers will be entitled to equal access to on-site facilities and information on permanent employment vacancies. Pregnant and breast-feeding mothers will have increased rights.
