A week’s pay (used for calculating statutory redundancy payments and basic unfair dismissal awards) will increase from £430 to £450. This increases the maximum amount to £13,500. The maximum compensatory award for unfair dismissal will rise from £72,300 to £74,200 This means that an overall total of £87,700 is potential possible in some cases.There continues to be no cap on some cases such as discrimination claims.
